GC Exaclear is a clear vinyl polysiloxane for bite registration and for making transparent matrices and indexes. Because it is see-through, you can check the bite and the tooth contacts through the material, and curing light passes straight through it.
That makes it a popular choice for the injection-molded composite technique: take an index of the wax-up, then inject and light-cure flowable composite through the clear matrix. It is dispensed from standard cartridges through the supplied mixing tips for a quick, consistent mix.
