Wooden interdental wedges that adapt the matrix band to the gingival margin and give slight tooth separation during Class II restorations. The wood absorbs moisture and swells a little once seated, tightening the marginal seal.
The pink 16 mm wedge is the large size, for wider embrasures between molars. Insert from the lingual or buccal side, tight against the band, then restore and remove.
